Mesalands Community College would like to extend an invitation to all men’s and women’s teams and individuals in the Grand Canyon Region to participate in our NIRA rodeo.

SCHEDULE:

                                                                                                                    Saturday –Oct 11 th                6:00pm Performance

This Rodeo will a one and a short.

$70 per Event $20 Office Fee $10 Stock Fee

PARKING: HORSE TRAILER PARKING IS ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE CHAINLINK FENCE ONLY- NO PARKING ON EAST SIDE WHERE TREES ARE. NO PARKING IN WARMUP AREA

STALLS: 

No stalls. Tie out or portable pens inside chain link fence. No parking in warm up area! ( between the road and chain link fence).

Bareback, Tiedown, Breakaway, Saddle Bronc, Steer wrestling, goats, Team Roping, Barrels, Bulls.

Slack

Barrels, Tiedown, Breakaway, Team Roping, Goats

BARREL RACING & GOAT TYING: YOU WILL BE COMING FROM THE EAST END OPPOSITE OF THE ROPING CHUTES THIS YEAR,

Finish the first run on all animals then redraw all events.

RODEO GROUND RULES:

1)     Drugs and ALCOHOL are strictly prohibited from the Mesalands Community College Campus including the fairgrounds. Any college rodeo member caught with possession/consumption of these items will be removed immediately, no exceptions. Security personnel will be checking contestant parking area.

 2)     DOGS will not be allowed in the arena or grand stand area. Leave them at your trailer! If I See one Expect a Fine

 3)     All timed-event contestants entered in a performance will be required to ride in the Grand Entry.

 4)     No circling horses prior to competing.

 5)     No riding in the arena once the ground has been worked.

 6)     Drag after 10 runs in the barrel racing.

 7) ANY EVENT UNDER 15 ENTRIES WILL BE 2 HEAD

  Not Ready rule will be strictly enforced.
